CANNABIS INTELLIGENCE™とは、日本人が古来より受け継いできた日本人としての教え（知恵）を意味し、和魂洋才という言葉にある様に広く世界に目を向けながら、日本の良さを改めて学び伝えていくことを目標としています。

 

ディレクターであるMACHIOが、「環境問題や不条理と感じる様々な事象に対し何か出来る事はないか」と構想し、幾多の疑問にぶつかりながらも「思い悩む答えの全てが日本にある」と気づきを得て着想。自身がこれまで傾倒してきたサーフィンやそれをとりまくカルチャーといった、大好きな世界観の中で大好きなモノづくりを通してメッセージをカタチにしていくプロジェクトです。

CANNABIS INTELLIGENCE™ means the Japanese people's wisdom that they have inherited from ancient times, and as in the phrase "Japanese spirit, Western learning", the aim is to relearn and pass on the good qualities of Japan, while looking at the world at large.

 

MACHIO, the director of the project, came up with the idea of doing something about environmental problems and various absurd phenomena, and realised that "all the answers to our problems are in Japan", despite encountering numerous questions. This is a project that gives form to a message through the creation of products in the world that he loves, such as surfing and the culture that surrounds it, to which he has always been devoted.
